Sib Font Editor is a font-creation solution required to design quality bitmap fonts. It satisfies the needs of typographers and graphic designers as well as beginners. Its easy-to-use interface and intuitive mouse-based controls come along with a number of powerful features. Fony is a bitmap font editor, originally created for editing Windows bitmap fonts in FON/FNT format. Fony runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and newer. To run Fony on Windows 98/ME you may be able to use KernelEx; for Linux use Wine. Birdfont is a free font editor which lets you create vector graphics and export TTF, OTF and SVG fonts. The editor has good support for both monochrome and color font formats.

Fony is a free editor for bitmap fonts. The author of this program tried to make it user friendly, but he has not yet gotten around to writing any proper documentation. Fony is not guaranteed yet to be bug-free, you should always keep backup copies of any fonts you work on.

Raster Font Editor is am easy-to-use font editor for the creation of bitmap fonts. It supports several file formats and has a very simple yet fully customisable user interface.
The application can open font resource files (*.fnt) created by other tools such as Borland's Resource Workshop. It can import DOS 8x16 fonts, fonts from BMP images and can convert TTF fonts to raster fonts.
You can save your raster fonts as Font Resource (*.fnt), Resource Script (*.rc), Text (*.txt) and Windows Bitmap (*.bmp). Saving as Text file is useful for debugging purposes and creating text representation of characters
This is a beta version and does not contain any help. It is fully working though and we trust you can use it and start creating fonts immediately.
